Dr. Yi Zhang, MD

Dr. Yi Zhang is a neurologist who has dedicated three decades to caring for patients with neurological conditions. She earned her medical degree from Henan Medical University and completed her residency training at Saint Louis University. Her extensive experience in neurology allows her to diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system.

Dr. Zhang practices at multiple locations throughout Mineola and East Meadow, New York, including NYU Langone Ambulatory Care facilities and Nassau University Medical Center. She specializes in helping patients who experience weakness and problems with movement control. Her expertise includes performing transcranial Doppler ultrasounds to evaluate blood flow in the brain and developing comprehensive treatment plans that may incorporate physical therapy and strength training to help patients regain function and mobility.
