Dr. Yin Fei Luk, MD

Dr Luk performed surgery on me Feb 18 2019. a triple-hernia> inginual, umbilical, and sternum area. Done at The Villages FL hospital - in one day. Experience COULD NOT have been better - from intial appt/ pre surg to the day of surgery to yesterday which was the post-op appt. Dr Luk instilled great confidence in her ability with wonderful caring communication. Dr Luk will be my go-to Dr for general surgery if required in the future. A+++. I had a fatty tumor removed from my back. My tumor was small. The surgery was done in the hospital. I think an outpatient procedure would have been more appropriate. Dr. Luk did not stitch the surgical wound. The resulting scar is very unsightly. I mentioned this problem at my follow-up appointment. Later I wrote a letter to her about the problem. I did not receive a reply. The scar actually looks like I have been stabbed in the back. It is at the top of my shoulders near the center of my back and thus shows with most necklines. I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon about scar revision surgery. I do not recommend this doctor.

Absolutely outstanding physician and surgeon. Very personable, caring and knowledgeable. I recommend her to everyone.
