Dr. Zhang was very disrespectful to my beliefs and was quick to dismiss any concern or question I had as far as holistic approaches to my hormonal imbalance. She mocked me when I asked about a skin rash and said, 'would you like medicine or will you be healing this naturally' with a sarcastic tone. She rushed the heck out of me and didn't take the time to really listen to my concerns or even bothered to really explain other options I had. I had a few questions I wasn't able to ask because it was obvious in her attitude, sarcasm, and disrespect that she did not want to help me at all. I believe that she should not be treating patients this way simply because we question western medicine. If the first thing she's doing is pushing pharmaceuticals and not actually listen to the symptoms, and patient's concerns about medicine, she shouldn't be practicing medicine until she can learn to respect her patients and their beliefs. She made me feel very frustrated, disrespected, confused and… untrustworthy of her.
