Dr. Yocasta Mabel Fernandez, MD

Okay. So, I gave this doctor 4/4 stars for almost everything because she pretty much has it earned. She is great with kids, and they really seem to love her, including my own kids. I know I am not the only one with this opinion because I see patients (Kids and parents) bringing her gifts all the time and kids running up to hug her. She has a special bond and connection with her patients that reassure them, and make them feel comfortable with her. Also, her staff is wonderful. They are super nice, and super helpful. Whenever I call, they all talk to me with a warm tone, and not to mention whenever a patient asks for help, they will try going out of their way to help them. SUPER NICE. The only problem I have is the wait time, I usually have to wait 45 min or maybe more. This is because she works alone and her clinic is usually full..HOWEVER, she recently hired another doctor, who is also very nice. She always makes sure whoever she hires has her positive attitude. Also, the wait time… (which isn't always that long a wait) is definitely worth it. My children are hardly ever sick, and she handles treatments extremely well. Also makes sure patients return for follow ups, and has her excellent staff call and remind us to follow up. By the way, I almost forgot. The medical assistants are also great with children. They always play games with them and joke around, as well as giving them hugs and treats. They and the doctor herself, know the patients pretty well, so I find that great that us patients and the staff can establish that connection and trust. I would DEFINITELY recommend her for anyone looking for a pediatrician, 10,000X
