Terrible Results. Dr Yoel S. Shahar is NOT a board certified plastic surgeon. He lies when he tells patients that he is. He is a general surgeon who is highly unethical. He had multiple lawsuits against him over procedures that he wasn't qualified to perform. He is also sexually inappropriate with his female patients. He really should be investigated by the medical board. Do you wonder why a plastic surgeon with "25 years experience" has a google profile that's only 2 years old? (The oldest review on this google profile is 2 years old.) That's because he had another google profile with a ton of bad reviews that he deleted and started “fresh.”

Dr. Shahar has been my plastic surgeon for over ten years because I look like I did not have surgery. An eye lift with my body fat injected under my eyes still looks good after ten years. Moreover, a mini face lift, which did not require any down time, has been better than facial injections near the nose and mouth. And over the years, I have had some botox to correct fine lines at the side of my eyes and the middle of my forehead. Dr. Shahar is candid about what you need to look natural. My experience with Dr. Shahar was a very positive one. I went to him for under-eye surgery. He understood what I wanted and he executed it perfectly to my taste. I was very nervous to have this procedure done so it was good that Dr. Shahar was very approachable. I met with him several times to discuss what I wanted done. I was also able to go through photos of his previous clients who had had similar procedures. This helped build my confidence in him, as I really liked his previous work. Dr. Shahar is careful and conservative in his approach and has a great eye for knowing how to enhance and make a person look their best while maintaining a natural look. I am very pleased with my results.

It was on another doctor's recommendation that I learned about Dr. Shahar. Before my daughter's wedding, I wanted to get rid of the tired look of aging eyes, so Dr. Shahar recommended the eye lift and fat injections. The procedure was done on a Friday and I returned to work on Monday, so the recovery time was quick. I did take arnica a week before and a week after the surgery to prevent bruising. However, Dr. Sharhar will give you instructions before and after the procedure. Moreover, his demeanor is professional and caring and he has the ability to create natural looking results. I look fifteen years younger and the wedding pictures and compliments I receive from people are proof that Dr. Shahar is skilled at what he does.

Dr Shahar is amazing!! I could not be happier with my results. Dr Shahar took the time to fully explain the benefits and risks of the procedures. I went to Dr. Shahar for a rhinoplasty six months ago. It's something I've always wanted but never seriously considered, until I learned that my boyfriend's mother and sister, whose faces I have always considered naturally flawless, have had the exact same procedure done a while back.
