Dr. Yogesh V Patel, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr Patel for about four years and he is very compassionate and listens well. He has ordered a back brace for me, acupuncture and other pain treatments which have been helpful. He also explains things well and asks if I have questions and if I think of questions later I email him and get a quick response usually within a day which is great considering his workload. I’ve had epidural injections the past 15 years and I’ve had a few by Dr Patel which were gentle and virtually painless. No joke! I usually jump off the table and want them to stop but he’s very gentle and calming. I’m definitely impressed with his expertise and high skills. His staff with him for the procedure is excellent and makes you feel relaxed as well. If you’re in pain and think you’ve tried everything and have gone to every doctor; get a consultation with Dr Patel and he will give you something maybe a few things to improve your life so you don’t have to feel hopeless and stuck,

Dr.Patel is a excellent Doctor and is fair and helpful with each and every patient. He is very good at injections and I have a long list of Doctors to compare him with. I have been coming to coastal pain for 4 plus years. I have recommended him to many friends that had issues with pain and rude Doctors.

I have a hard time being comfortable with doctors. I needed to find another pain management doctor and he was close to home. I was worried he would treat me like a drug addict like my previous doctor had after battling these issues with chronic pain since an accident in 2008. He was so down to earth and knowledgeable and treated me like a human being. It put me at ease and I will never go to another doctor other than him from now on. I have tried his PA's but I'm not happy with them. I will stick with doc. If you need a good down to earth doctor who also knows what he's doing, go to Patel.

I was a patient of Dr. Patel‘s for about five years. I have since moved to Tennessee and I can tell you I miss him terribly. Patients are treated with respect and dignity. Dr Patel offers many alternatives for pain management, meanwhile he listens and collaborates with the patient. The office staff is friendly and courteous and wait times are minimal. Of course you have the occasion when an emergency arises. I only wish I could fly to Carlsbad to see him instead of trying to find a provider here in Tennessee. It is increasingly harder to find a physician who specialty is pain management and that has not been jaded.

HE HAS A REALLY GOOD SENSE OF PEOPLE. HE IS VERY THOROUGH AND IS ALWAYS TRYING TO MAKE YOUR VISIT COUNT. HE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO DO WHATEVER YOU NEED TO REDUCE YOUR PAIN.

He is one of the most down to earth compassionate doctors I have ever been to. He cared about my pain and helped me in every way he could. Definitely visit his practice if you’re in need!!

Dr Patel practices fact-based medicine. He is trained in several areas of medicine that have prepared him to provide appropriate care to patients in pain. He has published exceptional papers for the use of his patients. After many years of chronic illness, he has been the most useful physician for me.
