Dr. Yolanda Delisa Giles, MD

My daughter had an appt with Dr Giles and has a lot of medical problems. The doctor took her time and reviewed my daughters meds and did med checks. She was using her phone for the med checks. I was completely satisfied with her recommendations and my daughter is better for it.

In all honesty, she acted like she did not know her medicine, constantly looking at her phone. Had bariatric surgery had a problom with weight gain on a lot of medicine. Told me I can have one or the other! Meaning emotional health or physical health. I quickly replied NO, I didn't go through this surgery for nothing! There were many issues! I'd not waste my time on her and run as fast as you can!

My child has been with Giles for several years. She is patient and always accessible. She will stay late or come in early to see us in emergencies. Her schedule fills so we make appts in advance.

our first psychiatrist took a leave of absence and ended up not coming back so we were seening dr. giles one day we went into our therapy appointment and was told dr. giles would no longer be seeing us or writing my childs prescriptions so he has been 3 weeks without his meds and still cannot find another psychiatrist to see him because not alot take blue cross they want us to have medicaid

It took awhile to get an appointment with her but it proved to be worth it. She listens to me and my child and is not quick to medicate. She is an awesome doctor and is more personable than most psychiatrists.
