Dr. Yong S. Lee, MD

I love Doc Lee. He has helped me sooo much. What I love about this man is that he spends time with you, listening to you, having compassion for your pain. He has several options for what he can do to help you. He doesn't push the pain pills on you if you are against them. I do very physical labor - a man's job - even though I'm a female and have terrible back problems. Most days I can hardly get out of bed dus to the pain. My feet get numb and hurt along with my low back. I have 2 bulging disc, degenerative disc desease and other things going on. Was told by 2 other doctors that there was no surgery that could help me other than fushion. Well people let me tell you, I may 50 something but I am NOT ready to loose mobility anywhere in my body. I have been going to Doc Lee for about 3 yrs now and all I can say is "He's The Best". Epiderals worked wonderfully for a couple years and no we had to change to spinal blocks. The first 2 helped but not as much as I was hoping for, the 3rd was… great although it took alittle longer than I expected. There are several kinds of doctors that tell you things you don't want to hear but sooner or later you agree with them. One being yor eye doctor and when he tells you that you are at that age where "BIFOCALS" will help you (I fought that for a year before giving in). The other is doctors like Doc Lee and when he reminds you that "YOUR NOT A SPRING CHICKEN ANYMORE" or "YOUR GETTING OLDER AND AT OUR AGE A BODY STARTS SLOWING DOWN". :-( I refused to believe that because if i slow down then I feel that I will age faster than if I stay busy. Well I have realized that there ARE things I CAN'T physically do anymore and so I wait for help with them or have it done by someone else. Don't worry Doc, I'm not doing half as much lifting as I was and I'm taking 4 x's more 15 minute walking and stretching breaks as before. One thing I will say - I don't like his Douglasville location. I believe the girls over there over over overbook him because the least amount of time in the waiting room was 1 1/2 hours - the most, well after 2 hours I left because I had to get back home. Once you get back to a room, he is in within 5 minutes or less. The Austell location "HAS IT TOGETHER" you rock ladies/gentlemen!!!

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this most arrogant dr I have ever seen! Does not care or understand your chronic pain. Made a patient cry before seeing another patient. Will dismiss you without hearing your side of your care needs. Very concerned about his safety first ethics in treating his patients.

After my visit with Dr. Lee yesterday I would definitely not recommend him to anyone I know or meet. From a previous visit he told me that I would need surgery and shouldn't go back to work and then on a subsequent visit he filled out paperwork contradicting everything that he told me previously. When I asked him why the about face he stated he stands corrected. He then stormed out saying that I was yelling at him. This was totally unprofessional and shocking to me. His staff and other patients in the waiting area just shook their heads.

I went to another pain management clinic,and I did not get the relief I need for l my pain. My back had been fussed, my neck had been fused, and I have cronic migranes. It has controlled my pain so I don't have to go to the ER for my relief. I also have 3 epierals a year. I have one on my neck and lower back done at the same time. It saves me from having to come back to get the other one, and it saves my insurance. He listens to you which is more than I can so for some of the doctors.

One of the most arrogant Doctors I've ever met. He will keep you waiting for an hour just to spend 2 minutes with you. During one visit he kept me waiting in the treatment room 30 minutes while he arranged to have doors delivered to his posh new house in an upscale area of Dunwoody, GA. He's a fool. I've been a patient for 9 years, today was the FINAL insult. He yelled at me and my wife and treated me like a peon. He absolutely refused to reason with me in any way as he got madder and madder his face got redder and redder. He is arrogant and stuck on himself. His office manager is a super nice individual and the staff is proficient but changes frequently. This man needs to be reminded who is paying the bills. If you need a pain management do yourself a favor and seek out someone who cares. My wife wanted to slap his face and she rarely gets mad. I'll be writing the medical board and the directors of the Orthopedic practice for whom he works. A real loser in my opinion.

I really like Dr Lee, however he is VERY HYPER,i know he cares, however i wish he would act more like he cared.

I have had many EMGs due to various ortho/nerve injuries. I have had horrible experiences every time, except this one. It was performed by a Physician Asst who was extremely knowledgeable and competent about neurology. I didn't feel any pain or anxiety! If you need one, go to Pinnacle in Austell.

His Nurse is a little full of herself. Dr Lee puts most of your care in her hands. This woman doesn't have a single shred of decency or empathy. I actually liked Dr Lee, but can't put up with his nurse. Never met the Office Mgr, but it's obvious she doesn't have a clue. If you have an appt at 10 and you are there at 945 you still won't get in at appt time. Why? Because some clown that had an appt at 930 was late and they will take them in before you based on the appt time. I have waited more than an hour in very hard uncomfortable chairs.
