Dr. Yong Zhang, MD

Dr. Zhang was my primary care doctor through Kaiser Walnut Creek facility for over 15 years. During that time she exhibited the most brilliant care of me accurately identifying medical conditions and prescribing appropriate treatments. Not only is she extremely intelligent and knowledgable about medical conditions but her caring treatment of me went above and beyond that of any other doctor I have consulted with. For a reason unbeknownst to me, she was transferred to a different department, and I was assigned to another doctor. By writing this review my goal has been to publicly acknowledge how special and loved Dr. Zhang is. I have no doubt that all her patients feel the same way.

Dr. Zhang is one smart lady. She can tell you almost instantly what you have wrong with you, i.e. I felt pretty stupid recently complaining about my big toe hurting. She knew instantly I had gout or "pseudo gout" and put me on the right medication for it, without which it would have been very painful. She has been spot-on re other problems as well. I'm glad she's my "Primary."
