Dr. Yosef Nasseri is a board-certified colorectal surgeon who takes a different approach to surgery by using state of the art technology. He is one of the founders of The Surgery Group of Los Angeles and has been using cutting edge techniques to treat colon and rectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, a variety of hernias, benign anorectal disease and general surgery. Dr. Nasseri obtained his bachelor%u2019s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), has attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then completed a 7 year general residency with a year dedicated to research at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in colorectal surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic.
