Dr. Yosvany Varona Del Pino, DDS

I do not recommend Dr. Yosvany Varona. I am not a sensitive or demanding patient, but this experience was unacceptable. My appointment was moved to an earlier time for the clinic’s convenience, and even then, they failed to provide basic, competent care. The office itself was unsanitary, which is alarming for any medical setting, especially when dealing with procedures involving the mouth. Dr. Varona was rude and dismissive. Without asking, he handled my personal belongings, which was inappropriate. The “examination” lasted less than a minute and provided no meaningful value. I came in specifically for both consultation and removal of a small growth, which I had confirmed in advance with the staff. Instead, I was told the procedure could not be done that day. I was then asked to reschedule and pay the full amount in advance, after a rushed, superficial exam in an unsanitary environment. Overall, this was a complete waste of three hours of travel and $150, with no treatment, no… proper consultation, and no professionalism. Think very carefully before trusting this doctor.

May you never have to meet with this man a day in your life. He was rude during my consult and even ruder as we were prepping for surgery. Thinks he can administer anesthesia himself, watch your vitals, AND do the operation all at the same time. That is literally how people die. Realistically, this is his way to cut the cost of an anesthesiologist. Came into my room didn’t even speak to me, simply placed a pressure band around my arm as his greeting. I’m already panicking/crying at this point and told him, “no! i’m not ready. i have questions to ask”. he was very annoyed and told me i had 5 minutes to ask all my questions so that then he can decide if we’re proceeding or not. He laughed in my face when I explained that an anesthesiologist is supposed to administer the anesthesia so that they can focus on my vitals/oxygen/everything. The fact that i waited an hour past my appointment time in the lobby for him , and he gave me less than 5 minutes for any questions i had. I got to ask… ONE of my questions to which he laughed at and stated he’s not the doctor for me. This “surgeon” is the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever met. He doesn’t know how to talk to a patient, does not have basic manners, is greedy and rather risk your life for an extra $1000 in his pocket. I didn’t even read his reviews until now, only to realize there’s 1 real review before mine and it’s also a bad experience.

After visiting a clinic that seemed solely focused on making money, I went to Dr. Varona's office, and let me tell you, the experience was exceptional. He took care of my dad, and as a nurse practitioner with extensive experience, I can confidently say the office was very organized, and the staff was incredibly kind. Dr. Varona took excellent care of my dad, inspiring trust and confidence. The procedure took only a few minutes. I truly recommend him to everyone. Thank you, Dr. Varona.

He’s not nice, was talking down on me, didn’t include all the information in the consultation left out charges and procedures he would do, and made me wait an hour during my scheduled appointment to eat his lunch while I was waiting in the lobby.
