I wish I read the reviews before going in. I spent 4 hours of time for my first appointment which is a bad sign alone. He did check me out but he is completely against MMJ and refuses to treat anyone that is a card holder. He told told me I would have to stop using the thing I need most everyday. He gave me a long paper of someone’s opinion (no research and no peer review) on how mmj causes mental issues and violent behavior. It’s actually completely false but he is not up to date on proper research. The kicker is when he offered me Topamax for weight loss, after I told him how sick/confused this medication made me he wanted me to start taking it again. This is not an approved reason to give a patient topamax, it is an anti seizure drug that helps migraine patients, it should never be given for weight loss!!! He also called me a big girl then when I said I was big (agreeing with him although I’m not BIG) he then disagreed. My appointment was 90% a nightmare. He did check me over though… which is appreciated and more than I can say for other docs but please for God sakes educate yourself on MMJ and what it does for sick people! You think it’s all run by corporate greed but it wouldn’t be such a vibrant market if patients didn’t benefit from this MEDICATION. Please choose another doctor if you need proper care and especially if you are a MMJ patient!

DO NOT GO HERE WILL DISCHARGE YOU EVEN IF YOU HAVE YOUR MEDICAL CARD AND SAY YOU FAILED A DRUG TEST........ PLUS THEY ARE VERY RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband has been going to him for almost 7 years now. He has been maintained with his pain very well. Better than he has in all his years of going to pain managements. I recommend him for anyone that's not just looking to Dr. shop.

When I had neck surgery he was the first dr I saw at the hospital when I woke up. He came to see me on his own time.

I have been to see this doctor on several occasions. He does not listen, he has not conducted any testing to determine the cause of the problem, and he seems to have a hidden agenda. The office staff is completely pathetic! Watch out for BJ, as well! There is a definite disconnect between the doctor and the staff. The right hand has NO knowledge of what the left hand is doing. And, if you have to wait to talk with the doctor, again, to clarify any issues. You may be waiting as long as one hour. His concerns are not for his patients. His concerns are for the drug companies. He is a suboxone pusher. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR, IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!

I am considering making a formal complaint against this "Dr". He is of the Dr. Jekhyl and Mr. Hyde. verity, My first two visits he actually displayed a professional manner and did help me with my pain. On my third visit however, his personality changed fromed concerned to outright agressive and rude. He actually tried to put a medication in my mouth that I felt uncertain about, and made it clear that I was "to take this medication", or be discharged. I told him I wanted to research the medicine called "Suboxone", and as it turns out it does not treat pain and is in itself highly addictive. This Dr. appears to have a hidden agenda, and I am in fear of him, DO NOT CONSULT HIM!

Dr. Wassef is GREAT - BUT, the wait is ridiculous. The longest wait we've had to date is 1 1/2 hours. My mother was in great pain and to have to sit that long was very painful for her. She wanted to leave! Sometimes I feel the office staff act as if they are being inconvenienced.

I am very satisfied with Dr. Wassef's performance during my treatment. I strongly recommend him to anybody having lower back pain.

There is an extended wait time to see Dr.Wassef. This annoys me everytime I visit there. The average for me has been 1 hour.
