Dr. Yuri Argov, MD

Ridiculous front desk service, care less about new patients, time and concerns. One month ago, I scheduled my appointment with a specific doctor, Dr. Argov, and reason of my visit also was given to the front desk girl, it was a second opinion. Two days before of my appoint. I received bunch of text messages and emails asking to confirm my appointment. Day before of my office visit, I got voice mail reminder from OB/ GYN Garden City NY about my appointment. Also, I called back to make sure who will be my Doctor, date and time of my appointment, and again girl from front desk assured me that nothing has changed. So, I had a long ride from NJ to med office in Garden City NY and when I came girl on front desk said that she does not have me on her schedule. I showed her text messages, emails & intern phone # from their office for confirmation my appointment. Instead appointment I got general words apologizing, but who will return my time, one month, that I was waiting to hear second… opinion from exact Dr. Argov and tolls that I spent from NJ to Garden City. NY med office. Also, girl mentioned that Dr. Argov is taking only pregnant women, and if I want, another Doctor can see me. Question: why did the front desk person not tell me anything before???? I strongly do not recommend anybody to visit and schedule appointment in this office!!!!! And by the way I got a text message and email that I missed my appointment! Can you tell me please how I can miss my appointment if according to the front desk girl my appointment does not exist at all on her schedule???!!!! Thank you!

Very good doctor and intelligent. He is accurate and professional but he needs intelligent and quite receptionist, because front desk worker is a image of the office. His receptionist Larisa doesn't look intelligent and professional, she sounds like a boss on the phone and keeps holding me always, which I don't like it at all.....She doesn't have professional manner by answering a phone, like when I have a balance or I owed, this is so sensitive case to explain to the patient....

excelent doctor. Can relay on him in all aspects. Overproactive sometimes but good one His openinon is always the rigth one. If there is something serious he will be the one call you imediatly and having the your treatment prepared already. He isnot offended when you look for second opinion. He is offering you doctors to get oppinions Very knowledgible
