NO WORDS WOULD BE ENOUGH TO DESCRIBE THE NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE WITH DR. JOCKIN. As a physician it was very disappointed to experience this from a colleague. We drove 7hrs to see her for our 4yo son’s ocular venos malformation. She never reviewed records sent prior to apt, she was rushed, never greet us or asked why we were there and after 2 min brief observation she told us what we knew. She got defensive when told we knew his condition and said “so what are you here then” and rushed through a list of procedures when told we were seeking treatment options. We handed her the medical records to show her the MRI which she just flipped around and said “I have other pts so you come later today”. We considered no returning but we had already done the trip to see her so we returned and for more of the same. It was clear that she did not reviewed records which she returned all stained with coffee. She was condecending, rude and she just gave rushed a list of surgical procedures she could… performed and gave us attitude in her short answers with any question we asked. We were extremely upset, confused and all the time, money and effort was a full fiasco and a waist of our time. We went to after to UCLA and it was a very different experience and we still with UCLA team.

All of my kids have seen her at some point and she is everything you could ask for in a doctor: kind, patient, clear in her explanations, friendly to the kids, and able to examine the kids while they are having fun. I have seen other pediatric ophthalmologists and she is by far the best. I would recommend her to anyone.
