Dr. Yvonne E Noel, MD

One of the many obstacles for patients with debilitating and chronic illnesses can potentially be the thoughts of condition progressing or an unexpected emergency. I can attest to that and have recently raised my questions with Dr. Noel who is exceptionally skilled with merging realistic and honest facts of a condition along with a positive and optimistic spin. What remains distinctive with Dr. Noel is that her physician attributes, knowledge and emotional intelligence are correlated with her soft spoken demeanor and great bedside manners to meet specific patient goals and objectives. A superlative way to conceptualize a patients’ treatment plan is to use existing data and up to date research information while taking into account the patient’s perspectives over a continuum of time. I commend Dr. Noel for going the extra mile to understand the multi-layered viewpoints and needs of her patients despite the constraints and challenges providers face in today’s ever changing healthcare… environment.

Dr. Noel is an outstanding doctor.

very unprofessional, shows no empathy, abnormal results was given to patient 5 mts after the fact and then she told clerks to call with results

I have been a patient of Dr. Noel's for quite some time. Dr. Noel is thorough in her diagnosis. However, her bedside manner can be improved as well as the number of patients scheduled for visits. She has moved her practice numerous times; the sites are often far from public transportation.

she is kind and empathetic and a very good surgeon. And as long as you are not having any problems, she is a fine doctor. However, her communication skills are lacking, she doesnt ask enough questions to understand the full clinical picture, doesnt discuss the post-surgical treatment plans she has for the patient, and doesnt want to discuss the what-ifs the patient has gone through (so that the surgeon has the authority to do the right thing while the patient is unconscious). At the very least, if you cant get information out of her get a second opinion. She is a skilled surgeon; you just want to be sure you are doing the right surgery.
