Dr. Yvonne Tyson, MD

I became collateral damage for Dr. Tyson’s lack of treatment for osteopenia. My first test read I was onset of osteoporosis. Which if tested correctly would prevent it from getting worse. Dr. Tyson put me on osteoporosis medication and vitamin D. She never told me I needed calcium too ! Her absence in her office has taken its toll on me. Her PA ‘ s don’t really call you back because they don’t get paid fir that. Beware of this playground disguised as a medical office.

I saw her P.A., leticia Gonzalez and she was fantastic. she was very knowledgeable , took her time addressing all of my concerns and very nice. I think she is the perfect blend of being young enough to be current on new medical information/practices yet has many years of experience . I’m glad I found her !

Had dog in patient area. Staff not informed on insurance policy and procedure. Intake assistant didnot know medical terminology. Will not return.

This doctor has her pet dog in her office. Pets belong at home.

Dr. Tyson is the type of doctor that cares more about her pocket book than your health. When I indicated that all I wanted to work with was my thyroid, the doctor went ahead and ordered more tests than just my TSH. This cost me a lot of money and when I brought it up to her, her eyes glazed over and I could see that she had no connection to my financial situation. If she can do this regarding my financial situation, then she can do this to anyone who has any issues that hurt her personal pocketbook. Not recommended by any means
