Dr. Zachary Michael Marlette

If I could leave O stars, I would. This office and Marlette himself are insensitive, rude and incompetent. I came in and was very open about my anxiety with Marlette and was looking to establish a relationship with him as my primary care. I came in for a basic blood draw and physical and explained how I needed a butterfly childrens needle did my blood draw. Once I got down to the blood draw, the nurse was nasty snd told me they don’t do butterfly needles and they had no idea what the dr. Was talking about and proceeded to say she was so great at her job. So I tried to suck it up and move forward. The nurse must have hit a nerve in my arm while drawing blood and sent me into shock. I started sweating and the nurse just said okay your done. I asked to sit longer but she said I was done. I went to leave and collapsed in the doorway. The nurse got me back to the chair and I begged for water but no one gave me any. I was still not okay and could not see or hear, but they made me move into… another room and lay on a dirty exam table. I laid down and they took my blood pressure, finding it so low and not riding. Still they did not offer me any snack or drink. I was left there alone and didn’t know what had happened. Finally a nurse said if you feel okay you can just leave. The dr. Never looked at me or made sure I was okay before driving myself home. I lost the use of my arm and fine motor use of my hand for at least 3 months. When I asked Marlette to see me about this he refused. I demanded he take a look at what was wrong with my arm and if there was a possible blood clot since it swelled up so huge and was was so hot. He sent me for a secret sonogram at UT “off the record” for which I have no proof or record of from him and then he had the nerve to charge me for an additional Visit to his office after damaging my arm in a routine blood draw. Then he talked to his wife’s friend about my situation not knowing that his wife’s friend actually worked with me. I spoke to the office manager about my upset and they were non responsive, and then send me a letter denying to treat me at his office anymore. This company is a JOKE, do not trust your body in their care.
