Dr. Zachary T Pollack, MD

Let me start off by saying that if I could give this review a negative 0 I would. I am actually shaking while I write this because this experience was so traumatic. I have never had a male obgyn and was nervous about having to book with Dr. Zachary Pollack. I had made this very clear with the front desk and had always had great experiences in the past with this clinic so, I put my trust in them and went ahead and booked the appointment. Dr. Pollack came in and did not even introduce himself. I told him what was going on, he left while I undressed, he came back in and examined me for *literally* two minutes and had made up his mind! According to Dr. Pollack I had an STD. EVEN THOUGH I had records in their system showing extensive STD testings that were all negative. Oh, but he didn't take the time to look at his new patients history and did not even know that I had been STD tested even though they were all right there on the computer for him to see... clear as day! within the TWO MINUTE… exam he had decided that I had herpes! even though, I have been with my partner for six years and explained the monogamous nature of my relationship ..nope..according to him I had better go home and have a talk with my partner, "maybe he's had it all along and just didn't know it!" "maybe there's something else going on that you don't know about" "but I don't know, I could be wrong".... yes "doctor" you could be wrong and you were wrong and not only that but isn't it inappropriate to be assuming things about your patients personal life instead of discussing the matter at hand? Not only was this doctor convinced of his diagnosis but he did not offer even ONE other option not a SINGLE other clue as to what could be going on just "it's herpes but I could be wrong but I don't think I am so let's do a blood test to be sure" oh BY THE WAY he told me all of this while I was still undressed and there was another nurse just standing there awkwardly in the corner. Couldn't let me have some privacy huh doctor? He told me that the blood tests would be done in three days, OVER A WEEK goes by and still no word. so, HERE I AM, thinking I have a magical STD and my partner cheated on me (never in a million years would I have thought that my partner would cheat on me, never. not before this experience!!!) so FINALLY my tests come back.(I had to call numerous times, they did not bother to update me or my ecare without me having to ask) negative. negative for everything (like my previous tests) instead of offering a clue as to what else it could be.. do you know what the nurse says ??? "it's negative but it could still be positive if you were infected recently" SERIOUSLY? how about I DON'T HAVE AN STD... PERHAPS EXPLORE THAT NOTION?????? so then she proceeds to tell me that I should come back in and have the wound biopsied.... SHOULDN'T THE DOCTOR HAVE DONE THAT IN MY LAST APPOINTMENT??????? why on EARTH would I want to come back to that clinic? so, long story short I STILL DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON or what caused this wound on the most sensitive area of a woman's body! Where did Katherine Mclean go?!?!?!? I cannot even put into words how much I loved her, I did not even realize just HOW great of a doctor she was until I was forced to book with this *absolute * moron. I also love that instead of HIM calling me to tell me that my tests were negative and to maybe offer a different solution or idea.. he has his nurse call and just continue to suggest that it still MIGHT be an std! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD do not see this doctor. do NOT take your precious daughters and sisters and friends here PLEASE.

My birth experience was traumatizing because of him. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Pollack is the most amazing OB! He really cares. I truly believe that I had a vaginal delivery due to his coaching and efforts. I highly recommend him!

I went to see Dr. Pollack after finding out we had a missed miscarriage. He actually made me feel ok about the experience, and helped me decide the best plan for me and my husband. He was thoughtful, supportive, and open to whatever we decided. My husband and I are both nurses and we really appreciated the amazing and wonderful care we received from Dr. Pollack and his team.

Dr. Pollack is a genius. He is also extremely kind and caring. I recommend everyone see him.

My the second labor stage is over 4 hours. He never return my question after postpaturm 7months but I have not recovered.He is really a bad doctor and bad experience for me.I don't want another baby.

IDr. Pollack was the doctor on call when I went into labor. He was absolutely amazing during my labor. My son was in stressed and they took me into a c section. I asked to have a vaginal delivery and Dr.Pollack agreed to give us one more chance (only if the baby won't be in stress again). Dr.Pollack was 100% involved and stayed with me until my son was born. The delivery got complicated because my son was big (over 4kg), but he stayed calm and made sure the entire staff is calm. He is not very social (as other reviewers mentioned, but who cares?) he is definitely the most professional doctor I've ever had. He knows his job, and he listens to his patients. I can't thank him enough for giving me the best experience ever and making sure my son and me are healthy. I highly recommend him and I wish he will deliver my next baby as well.

I've had 3 children and have come to know the warning sign that my body exhibit with each pregnancy. I am 23 weeks pregnant with my fourth child and the clinic gave me dr. Pollack as my obgyn. All the different doctors that I have had he is the only one that doesn't do the procedures involved in each prenatal visit. At every appointment I've had with him he talks extremely fast and tries to get out of my room as quickly as possible... 3 minutes or less. I've been having severe contractions for about 2 monthseconds and get worse with time and movement and every visit I complain about it and every visit he says it's normal and natural. With my last child I was getting contractions early on in pregnancy and it was opening my cervix by 5 centimeters. I told him this and he said "oh you must be really sensitive" then acted like everything was fine and said have a good day see you next time and left the room. I'm no expert but every other pregnancy I've had doctors wood take the baby's… heart rate measure your stomach to see if baby is growing the right amount and check your cervix at least once during the pregnancy on top of discussing their patients concerns. I would say if you're looking for a doctor for your pregnancy or just because you need an exam like a pap smear... Something important that requires attention find another doctor.

Dr Pollack had never met me before and told me to watch my weight & avoid empty calories such as...then went on to give a nutrition lesson. I've gained 30lbs at 35wks and started with a bmi below average. I think I'm doing just fine. Bedside manner just came off rude.

This doctor portrays himself so wrong on his own website. He cares nothing about his patients & walked out while I was still talking. I wouldn't take my dog to him! I hope he enjoys the malpractice suit I am currently preparing. Women- RUN!!!!! And tell your friends to run too. If I could give ALL ZEROS I would.
