find someone else... horrible, inconsiderate, and mean

Horrible. Pushes so many drugs on kids. No evaluation. Heavy psych drugs without any concern for there health. No labs. If you want to drug your child into sedation behavior see him. Otherwise steer clear and find a doctor who will do a proper exam and treatment plan. He is dangerous.

If you want a doctor to write you a prescription without a proper evaluation, go to Dr. Mahmood. I took my daughter to him to be evaluated and he did it in 10 minutes of talking to me. He said "It sounds like she has ADHD, I can go ahead and give her a prescription." I told him that I want her evaluated before putting her on any medication. He said she would have to speak with Jill the therapist and he'll read her notes. I scheduled an apt with her, two days before the apt I get a call saying they had to cancel the apt. I was never able to reschedule because the didn't answer or she wasn't available for any apt. I late got a bill for $525.00 for that visit (10 minutes). During my time in the waiting room the receptionist ignored calls while she set there doing NOTHING. The Therapist/psychiatrist didn't care that she did this. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone looking to get a proper evaluation. A real evaluation take about 2 hours to do once a doctor know what test they need to… do, not 10 minutes

My overall experience with Dr. Zafar Mahmood is excellent. He has helped me beyond measure, with panic/anxiety disorder, and severe depression. The PAD is managed well and depression is now nonexistent. He is a very courteous, compassionate, well-mannered person, who is obviously highly intelligent, high-born, and sophisticated. Very professional in every way. Highly recommendable.
