Dr. Zahra Shahim, MD

If we can give zero star, we will do that. She was ill-tempered and very impatient with my parents during their visit. She was even scolding her staff. This is our first visit with her. We will changing PCP.

Met Dr.Shahim when I was going to have gallbladder surgery and my surgeon sent me to her for a pre-surgery check-up. Being in health care as RN, I like her bed side manner and information given about my health and that appointment, seemed to hit it off. I've been to her for 2 complete physicals now and my husband, mom and my sister became her patients since then. Good doctor.

Been seeing her for the last 3 years. The waiting is horrible. You spend anywhere between 1 hour to 2.5 hours in the waiting room just so that you can sit in the back for another half hour to an hour before even seeing her. I recently added my husband to my insurance, and he went in for what he thought was a sprained ankle. She took 2 weeks before referring him for X-rays, gave him no medicine for his pain, and took several days to get his results. He ended up needing an MRI which took another week and was told he needed a boot. She sent him to urgent care!!! Days later she referred him to a specialist who told my husband that he needed a cast because his foot was broken and his ligament was completely severed!

Was her patient for years and she was never on time. Extremely late by an hour at the most. Then you're seen for 10 minutes, if that, then ridiculously charged my ins. Quickly changed my PCP.
