Dr. Zakaria Siddiq, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Siddiq for at least 8 years now. I have never had a problem with the staff or Dr. Siddiq. Everyone in the office are welcoming and professional. All my questions are answered and all my calls always responded to immediately. Dr. Siddiq personally answers all my questions, even if I have questions from dr visits to a different drs office. He explains it to the point I can understand it. I have asked questions to some of my other Drs even telling them I am not understanding. They just blow me off saying they've already explained it. Then I go to dr Siddiq and he won't let me leave until I completely understand. He also found some of the medication I was currently prescribed by other Drs were not supposed to be mixed. He sent me to the appropriate Drs to fix it. Even my PCP didn't catch the mistake. Out of all my Drs, Dr. Siddiq is by far the most patient, compassionate, and understanding dr I have ever had. To the point that I was actually spelling his… name to my nurses when they awoke me off the ventilator while in the hospital for being septic and kidney failure. I wish Dr. Siddiq was my PCP because he genuinely cares for his patients and is very thorough. He makes sure I am not only mentally healthy but also physically healthy. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr Saddiq is a very fine Neurologist. My experience is that after my first appointment he referred me to another physician for a followup diagnosis. After receiving results from a procedure I had, he is the only one of (4) Drs that received the same results that reached out to me with very serious concerns. Dr Saddiq made himself available to assist me through an emergency situation, and again followed up with me to make certain I was was allright. He then proceeded to contact another physician I had an appointment with, and was able to aid in getting my appointment moved up to an urgent stus. I more than appreciate Dr Saddiq's efforts on my behalf, and would refer my family or friends to him for help any day.

In the middle of my appointment with him, he asks if I would wait, leave or leave and return because he had a scheduled luncheon with colleagues. It took 2 weeks to get results from my test, they he ultimately said was nothing. And there clearly is an issue. I’ll never go back and won’t ever referral anyone to him.

He was dismissive, condescending, interruptive. I felt like I was wasting his time. He didn't listen well.
