Dr. Zakiya Aisha Steadman, MD

I saw this doctor through worker's comp and it was a strange experience. She clearly was bothered that day. I asked a simple question and she got irritated and threatened to file charges/restraining order against me. I was so taken aback at her reaction I couldn't respond. I had no words. There was NOTHING PERSONAL said or done. I'm happily married!! I'm trying to get my medical issue taken care of and she threatened me because she wasn't in a good mood that day. I don't typically write bad reviews but this was necessary. Proceed with caution!

She is also a Doctor who has no problem giving out prescriptions to family and friends which is absolutely illegal and I have zero issue stating it because it’s fact! She should have her license revoked. It’s a shame with so many women actually dealing with abuse from men to have a woman who is suppose to operate with a level of integrity above that of the normal human being but she is simply a liar and an embarrassment to ethical Doctors.

I too found Dr. Steadman to be fairly quiet initially, but what I liked immediately was how thorough she was when I came in with any symptom. At my previous medical center, I was always given lots of medications for any complaint, but Dr. Steadman asked lots of questions and when needed, sent me to specialists to sort things out. I had back and neck pain due to very heavy breast. She sent me to physical therapy and when that didnâ??t help she sent in a referral for breast reduction surgery, which was approved. Her thoroughness spoke volumes and changed the quality of my lifeâ?¦ I find her very easy to talk with AND she has a great sense of humor.

Very Good Doctor! And friendly!

When I saw her for the first three times she was very quiet and straight to the point, I didn't want her for a doctor, but after she got to know me she is very friendly and fun to be around. I guess she has to know your personality before she feels comfortable with you.

I think the doctor had a bad bed side manner. I am on medicaid, maybe that was why.

We LOVE Dr. Steadman! She is respectful, kind, and a great member of our health care team. She was wonderful with our adult son with developmental disabilities.
