Dr. Zane Alexander Curtis, DO

February 25, 2026 Dr. Zane Curtis, DO, seems to disregard the importance of harmonious mental health care with the involved family. He did not respond to the patient's parent emails or phone calls, even with an ROI on file, ever! We wanted to share the patient's history and current medications and to alert him to errors on the medical chart. I only received his email after the patient had been in the hospital under his care for three days, despite our persistent efforts to connect with him. The patient saw him for the first time when it was convenient for him, which was not timely initially. On the fifth day, he discharged the patient without ever replying to us. Note: Dr. Zane A. Curtis, DO, finally prescribed the appropriate and familiar medications after the social worker became involved and her private medical provider was consulted. This has been a terrible experience with this DO or... Patient care for vulnerable individuals in a hospital or outpatient setting still matters!… Importantly, if you can document unprofessional experiences with Dr. Zane Curtis, report it to hospital administration and licensing oversight agencies; there are many of them, and they will catch up with him eventually. No patient with an ROI on record for their parent should encounter reluctance from the prescribing medical provider to connect. To the Cedar Hills Hospital administration and the board of directors: Dr. Curtis Zane is a team member who represents the medical support service at this facility. The experience described with Dr. Curtis Zane absolutely does not align with Cedar Hills Hospital's mission statement on its website!

Quack... patient for profit Ranier Springs.... Terrible place

He is incredibly arrogant. He has no concern for the well-being of his patients. He tried to discontinue ER physician non-narcotic pain medications that are NSAIDS and muscle relaxers for victims of car collisions. He has an air of superiority that limits his ability to empathize with patients. He learned I was on clonazepam for 1 week post highway collision and immediately wanted to discontinue my med knowing full well I know have vehicle ptsd and panic attacks on the road and am not an addict. He says he will return to your room to answer any questions then sneaks off and never comes back. Overall, he is a quack and should not be licensed to practice. He tries to deprive people of basic dignity such as the right to floss their teeth and when presented with facts such as medical conditions of concussion he shrugs and says “I only do mental health”.
