Dr. Zarghoona Rahim, MD

Horrific Experience. This medical office runs by bunch of liar and scam artists. We had a horrific experience today, my wife had a doctor appointment with Dr. Zarghoona Rahim, and my wife is new in this country thus, her speaking ability is not that great, therefore initially before making the appointment and after making the appointment, I have reached out to Kaiser Permanente support two times, and asked whether I will be allowed to be with my wife or not. they said yes. additionally they have referred to me the policy which is whether we are vaccinated or not etc. we are vaccinated and I tried to show that as well in the front desk. The incident happened like this, initially I paid the money and they took my wife inside, and did not let me enter, I asked one white nurse with tattoo on her, why I can be allowed? I asked that I have talked with support and they said I can because my wife is new here and she does not understand English well and not comfortable with an interpreter… either. That nurse told me quote unquote this is the policy even you wont be allowed no matter what. but front desk women, an African American lady told me once doctor go to the room, I will be allowed. Long story short, once doctor got into the room, my wife requested that whether I can be with her since she is not comfortable, and doctor asked that nurse to call me, and she came to the door and call my name. While entering from the door, I told her in a really low voice, " See I told you, you perhaps don't know the policy well, I have called kaiser they said visitor will be allowed" Just I pointed where she went wrong, and did show me attitude without any proper reason, she flipped, and told me get out, I am not comfortable, I will call security on you, I said please if you want call the security, I did nothing wrong, just said you don't know the policy well. Security women came in, I was respectful, she told me they don't want you here, I walked off to the parking lot, and my wife was inside scared. that nurse lied to her teeth, and another nurse out of nowhere came in and supported her without knowing anything. the nurse who lied to the security used racial slurs as well in a bad manner. I have reported it to kaiser people, waiting on their reply and consulting with an attorney as well. I requested them to check all the video camera of the third floor, and told them to prove that by any means I was threatening her or not, because I only said you don't know the policy, she flipped and other colleagues of her supported her without knowing the reason. I am spreading this incident to UC Berkley student union, and all other communities as well to raise the awareness of this treatment. for future patients, please be mindful as seems like their behavior seems like depends on their mood. I have nothing against this doctor but seems like she did not handle the situation well, and completely relied on her egomaniac nurses who does lie when their actions gets questioned.
