My experience with Dr. Liu has been outstanding. He treated the fractures in my left hand and performed surgery on my elbow. I especially appreciated that he did not rush into surgery. He was thoughtful, cautious, and careful before making his decision, which gave me confidence that he was choosing the best treatment for me. The surgery was very successful, and my pain was managed extremely well. I experienced very little discomfort, and the entire medical team made sure I was comfortable and in good condition before I left. At every appointment, the doctor is caring, thorough, and honest. He takes the time to show me my X-rays and other images on the screen, explains exactly what he sees, and makes sure I understand what is happening with my health. During my most recent visit, he carefully examined both of my painful shoulders, ordered X-rays, reviewed the results with me, and determined that MRIs were needed for further evaluation. I always feel that I am receiving truthful… information and excellent medical care. Honesty, integrity, compassion, and attention to detail are extremely important to me, and this doctor consistently demonstrates all of those qualities. I did not have to wait too long to be called in to see Dr. Liu. This was my second followup appointment after right knee Menniscus repair. Dr. Liu took his time to explain the procedure and my progress very clearly and took care in helping me understand why I may be still having excessive pain. It was still difficult for me to walk. I was told before the surgery that I would be able to walk on it right away and that was not the case. I had to be transported to ER by way of ambulance the 2nd day after surgery due to pain. They sent me home with more medication. Then a few days later I had to go to urgent Care because my wound looked infected. I was prescribed antibiotics, that helped. It would have been very helpful if Dr. Liu's office would have contacted my Pain Management Doctor to coordinate a plan for my ongoing pain treatment due to my chronic pain for other body ailments. It was very difficult for me to coordinate this myself. My surgery was performed on July 2nd and… finally my first physical therapy session was scheduled for July 20th. It took them a long time to coordinate my care. I believe that each medical entity should work together to help the patient with coordinating care in a timely manner throughout the process. I had requested a 4 wheel walker and still have not received it. My Mom is sharing hers with me as much as possible. I have another appointment at the end of the month and I am hoping I will be doing better.

Today was my first post-op appointment for rotator cuff repair. Dr Liu explained the extent of the damage, what he did during surgery and expected healing time. Another great visit with Dr. Liu.

I had my follow-up appointment with Dr. Liu after my surgery for my broken elbow and wrist, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received. Dr. Liu was extremely thorough in reviewing my progress. He carefully explained the results of my X-rays and even took the time to show me the images so I could clearly understand how both my elbow and wrist were healing. He answered every one of my questions with patience and in a way that was easy to understand. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Liu was professional, kind, caring, and genuinely attentive. I never felt rushed, and I appreciated the time he took to ensure I was comfortable and informed about my recovery.
