Dr. Zohreh Kazemi-Dunn, MD

Copperstate OB/GYN is extremely disorganized. The receptionists at the office changed my appointments twice without notifying me and lied about it to my face, and to the nurse. The first time I showed up for an exam and they told me "Your appointment was yesterday", I thought nothing of it, but after my exam was done I scheduled an appointment for another procedure. When I went in today for the procedure, they again told me that "my appointment was yesterday". I do not have a problem with showing up to appointments a day after in any other area of my life, and I have the card that they gave me telling me the day and time of the appointment. Last week I missed a call from the office, in which they didn't leave a message. I asked them how come they don't notify patients when they miss appointments and her reply was "we send you letters". I have never received a letter from this office, not the first time I apparently missed the appointment, not when the results of the exam didn't come… up, not the second time I did the exam, not the second time I "missed" an appointment. So for the most part, the wait time to see Dr Dunn is forever, because the receptionists just keep tricking the patients into re-scheduling appointments over and over. Dr Dunn's nurse forgot to send me my results after my pap smear. After three weeks of waiting for the results and them not returning my calls I showed up in person and explained to the receptionists what was going on. They allowed me to talk to the nurse, who told me she couldn't get around to calling me on time, and looked into her computer and told me that the results for the exam were not showing up and it had to be re-done. Again, I had to go in person to get this information. Another unsatisfactory aspect about this nurse is that she asked if I wanted to re-do the annual or if I wanted to wait until next year. Should I really wait until next year to know if I have cervical cancer? I don't think I want to wait until next year. Dr Dunn is polite once you are able to make it into her office. But I get the impression that she does not think it is important to be respectful and follow up with her patients unless they are pregnant. I would like to find a doctor with a nurse that actually lets me know my results on time, and in an establishment where receptionists and nurses don't get away with being rude and irresponsible.

I was involved in a major car wreck, where my car was totaled, and I was advised by Copperstate to go St Joseph's ER. They informed me to call later when I got discharged by the ER to try to come in to get seen, as I was on my way for my 21 week check up when we crashed. I attempted to get in that day but the front desk refused to make time for a follow up check up, I tried again the next day but once again was refused. Only after I called to complain about their service did they attempt to get me in. At that point in time I had no interest in ever returning to Copperstate. As my husband says they are nothing but a baby factory and have no concern about their patients only their money. Will not recommend to anyone.

Dr Dunn was very friendly and sincere, she had time for me and I felt very comfortable with her. She understood my fear and was not at all judgemental. She did what was best for me.I will definitely recommend her to my friends
