Avoid this doctor if you have a weight problem. I think she has deep seeded hatred for overweight people. I only saw this doctor twice. The first time she brought up that I was fat and asked if I wanted a referral to a weight loss class. I told her I gained 150lbs recently from severe depression and I was in the process of losing it ( almost lost 100lbs already). I told her I didn’t want to do the class that I was doing it on my own, and it was working. I found out she sent the referral anyway and they kept bugging me to do it. I didn’t, then forgot about it until I had to see her again for neck spasms. It was so painful I wasn’t able to sleep and when I went in I was sleep deprived and in a lot of pain. She started asking me about my neck and then shifted to my weight. She was asking why I didn’t go to the weight class she referred me to. I told her I was losing weight on my own, I didn’t want to talk about my weight, it’s a sensitive subject, and she was being very pushy. She did not… care that I didn’t want to talk about it. She wouldn’t let it go. I kept begging her to help me with my neck, but she refused. She was angry that I didn’t want to lose weight HER WAY. What the heck? I needed to see a doctor for a neck problem. Someone should tell this doctor that if the patient doesn’t want to discuss their weight, that’s their RIGHT as a patient and doctors should respect their patients wishes!
