Dr. Zohreh Nikkhah Nikkhah Abyaneh, MD

Dr. Abyaneh helped me so much. I suffered with heavy periods and anemia for years. Not only did she order the sonogram and did the procedure to check for cancer she ACTUALLY CARED. So she cares and that shows alot. You want a gorgeous office with state of the art tvs on the wall don't go here. This is a practice that has the ring leader Dr. Abyaneh who cares about you and how you feel and how your taken care of. If you want to call and get a professional recording that plays a list of options and music playing while you wait don't call this practice. You need to keep calling until you get thru. This lady is busy because she is excellent. I had an hysterectomy at Fairfax Inova and I couldn't have been better taken care of. I had her show up the next day and spoke with me. Listening to me and caring. I went back to work 6 weeks later and no problems. So believe the hype with these sterile practices that see you as a paycheck and you can be happy with fakeness. Or go to Dr. Abyaneh and… get treated with realness. My daughter is going to her Oct 5th. Why would I not recommend her. Also my internal med nurse goes to her and her daughter. I just found that out.

Staff lacks knowledge as nurses, Also, they give referrals for professionals who are out of my network. Hence, their lack of knowledge of insurances.And while you wait for a procedure and lying on a table and dr waiting with you in the room , staff disappears to find the required supplies to perform a procedure. Importantly no protocol is implemented during the COVID pandemic in the waiting room. If you call office, they will put you on hold and I had to call back many times within one hour and wa placed on hold or staff simply hung up on me.

I got an appt fairly quick. Dr. seemed very nice at the time of my appt. She showed concern. That day she made lots of notes, spent a lot of time examining me and gave me an order for a mammogram. I was told after the test to follow up with my doctor in a few days so when I called in the Dr had answered the call and wanted to go over the results over the phone, which was fine only when she pulled my file she said that she had nothing in my chart indicating that she had ordered any exams. Furthermore she even asked if I had even had a chance to meet with. Dr. then asked me if I was sure I had the right office so I pulled out a script where she had written notes for me and read it back to her........ Would I recommend her? After what happened? Honestly no. In person she seems to treat her patient right but over the phone she is very short, cuts you off and abrupt!

Great doctor:) i was so scared trying to find an ob doctor since its my first pregrnancy. But thank god i found her she is such an amazing and caring doctor. I woud recommend anybody to her and i know they will be taken care of.
