Dr. Z was my surgeon for 6 of my 7 latest back surgeries. He fixed messes created by lesser surgeons. The last one (2016) so repaired issues with an old neck fusion that I was darn near painless in that area for 8 months! Then I went in for a really tricky low back surgery/fusion and came out of Recovery crying with what felt like a broken neck—I don’t cry! It has been 2 years since of sleeping with an ice pack around my neck and headaches—sometimes really bad ones— 24/7. Dr. Z can you please contact me? I have been told by 3 surgeons (the last opinion was yesterday) that the plates in my neck moved during that surgery, and I need another surgery ASAP to fix it; spinal cord being pinched from both sides. Only after 7 years straight of meeting by out-of-pocket deductible of $7500, I have no more money for another surgery. I have no choice but to sue for malpractice so I can get my surgery taken care of. They need a new MRI, and I haven’t even finished paying for the last one. My… lawyer needs something from you. Dr. Bereczki was my surgeon in 2012 at The Laser Spine Institute it Tampa. I had a severe herniated disc L3-L4 and was in extreme pain. He had to go in at an angle to do the minimally invasive procedure and I was told that he not only developed the procedure that he did, but also the instruments that he used. Immediately after surgery, I was able to walk without pain and that night couldn't believe that I had just had surgery. I was very grateful to Dr. Bereczki and the staff for my successful surgery. I am very saddened to learn of the closing of the Laser Spine Institute and am hopeful that Dr. Bereczki is still practicing at another location.

I had surgery at LSI in Tampa. After 36 year of living in pain Dr. Bereczki operated on my L5/S1 disc herniation. When i woke up in recovery i was pain free. Dr. Bereczki came in to see me. He told me the nerve was so badly compressed i shouldn’t have been able to walk. He called me when i got home. I couldn’t thank him enough. He is a dedicated, caring professional.
