Dr. Zoran Maric, MD

My mother had surgery with Dr. Maric and has been doing very well. He has treated her for a very long time and she is still active in her 90's. I don't know where we would be with out his companion and care. He is a very good doctor and surgeon.

Worst doctor ever! My wife had 2 back surgeries and she was on workmans comp. She went to she him for a 2nd opinion which workmans comp sent her to see this quack...opps I mean doctor! She has had to walk around with walker ever since the back surgeries. This IDIOT...opps did it again... this doctor says she's OK to go back to work! I don't know what room he was in or what he was smoking prior to seeing my wife. But he's Crap Sh*t Crazy! Not sure what 3rd world medical school he went to, but I wouldn't trust him to do back surgery on anyone when he can't ever do a competent medical review when he has ALL the info and documents on a patient in front of him! He's just a hack for Workmans Comp!

Seen for IME for 2 work related injuries. Told insurance it was a musculoskeletal sprain and my pain was from my weight and mental health. History of herniated disc with classic presentation with these two injuries. This last injury recovered enough in a week that I could go back to work, and he used this as justification that it wasn't a disc issue. The only reason it is better...I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy and doing what is necessary to get back to treating my patients.

I was in a horse accident and was in severe pain. I went to see Dr. Maric and he had a very conservative process but I did not want surgery so this was the way I wanted to go. I am doing fantastic and riding again. I would recommend Dr. Maric to anyone.

He puts information in his reports that are not true. I'm not sure where he was when I had my exam , but he didn't listen to anything I had to say and then twisted what I told him. He gives his opinion on the work his patients are doing when he has no clue what goes on at that persons job.

Dr. Maric performed a failed laminectomy on me a while back. He does surgeries in a surgery center not a hospital and is ill equipped if problems arise. A week after surgery I saw him for a routine follow up. I was feeling fine, probably from the pain meds. He told me, almost gleefully, not to be too hopeful and that my pain would renew soon. He botched the procedure and he knew it! A few weeks later, my back pain and sciatic were worse than ever. I asked him about Radio Frequency Ablation to deaden the nerve root. He said that anyone who performs that procedure is a quack. His words! Well some very fine anesthesiologists perform RFAs very well thank you. I should have done that from the start. I recently had a CT Scan done because I am a Lymphoma patient. The radiologist who wrote up the report noted "Residual Artifacts From Failed Laminectomy". Yikes. I kid you not.

I never write reviews but if anyone has a work injury and Is referred to Dr Maric run! He is a workers Comp doc and works for the insurance companies and not for the patients . The minute I walked in the door he tells me he’s not convinced this happened at work and more likely I was born with this abnormality. I am a medical provider and I do not want to be out of work. After a significant work injury that fractured my spine I’m told Bones will heal over time . Although it will take 2-4 months and no work , or I could have surgery which a neurosurgeon recommended that will fix the fracture in a day and I could be back to work in 2-3 days . Let me think, what would you do? Doesn’t even make any sense . I guess I’ll need an attorney !

***Use CAUTION if you are referred to him for IME*** Consider this possibly your ONLY notice before you become harmed too. This is an IME DOCTOR, and works FOR the INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION......NOT for YOU!! He takes workmans comp claims to a whole new level, and it will probably NOT even MATTER if you have several other Doctors reports advising of the complete OPPOSITE of what he will say in his reports....Keep THAT in mind before risking your health, and your LIFE to this "person" (and I use that term lightly. Normal people do not go around harming others for money or "Brownie Points".)...I have not seen this Dr. in several years now, but the scars caused by him are more evident today, than ever. I have been unable to work full time since my work related injury specifically due to his lies and untruths. (and yes, I absolutely have proof of this Dr. Psycho). Thankfully for me, I had 15 years of service working for my employer, so I'm able to draw a pension. My medical bills since my… accident however, are still astronomical. I can only imagine how many victims there are out there, that do NOT have access to that type of financial security, and end up losing their ability to work full time and thrive over the years. It appears he is still doing what has been historically known for. If you are NOT a Workmans comp claim, I can see he almost acts human from reading through the comments. I can easily see, however, that every complaint regarding him, surrounds how terrible he is as an IME doctor. Disgustingly shameful!

I took my daughter in after getting injured playing volleyball with friends. My primary care doctor recommended Dr. Zoran Maric. I was hesitant at first because I always read the reviews. I am super happy I did not take the opinions of a few people. He was very personable and referred by daughter for physical therapy. I am happy to give a review that reflects how great of a doctor he is. I am not sure why others gave a bad review but I had an excellent experience with him and the staff.

Dr. Maric did surgery on my Mother and gave her a new outlook on life. She was not able to go shopping or exercise like she had done her whole life. Once she had surgery she was up a few days later and already was feeling 100% better than she had in years. At 76 years old she was thinking that bad back pain was just a part of getting older. Thanks to Dr. Maric she will be able to feel young for many more years to come.
