Dr. Zubin Sam Batlivala, MD

My prior doctor of 6 years was awesome, but when he left NH Neurospine I was told Dr Batlivala was my only choice. The man did not even greet me and after 4 minutes of him rushing questions and barely giving me time to answer he opened the door and moved me out. This is after he was over 30 minutes late. He explained nothing in terms of a treatment plan and ordered a expensive tests I'd already had.

This man could really care less about his patients. He is impatient, curt, disrespectful and should not be in his position of pain management. I found another pain clinic and am amazed that they treat me so well. Do not get started on your path with this arrogant person who has zero compassion.

I went to NHNS for spinal issues .. when surgery was no option at the time i had to do pain Management . No time while being perscribed Oxycodone did he reach out to me to see how i was coping .. i only had to talk to them every 6 months or so .. when my lower dosage of pain meds did not work they gave me some stronger oxycodone .. This did help my pain very much but to what cost .. 2 years of 4 pills a day is like 3000 pills in 2 years .. Im55 and never been addicted to anything minus cigs .. after 2 years I made the decision of a addict or be in pain .. i chose pain .. I made an appointment with Dr Batliwala and i spent more time with the nurse and there was compassion for why i was there . Dr B then comes in the room and there was very little eye contact when i was explaining my issue with becoming addicted .. so he said to me That I should stop 1 pill that day and gave me these very generic instructions to taper myself down (3000) pills later and i got to do this myself and i was… frightened about withdral and he just said i would be uncomfortable and sent me on my way ... The withdrawls and cravings on top of my pain was so hard .... #3 days into my taper i get a call from a lab tech or sombody .. I thought they were checking in on me so my hopes went up .. The call was to Inform me that there was THC in my system and i cant receive opiates .. I have a medical Cannabis prescription from my primary .. its no secret but Legal in this state. I was shocked that this was the call i would get ... I told the person on the other end that if it was not for med cannabis this would be much harder . So i called DR B office and a memeber of his team called me and I told her the whole story.. She was Shocked and beside herself about the treatment or lack of compassion He has towards people ... We are not just a paycheck we are people that have struggles and needs .. this is pain management not just a pill pushing factory . I think Dr B needs some humbling and some social interacting classes because he sucks . I hope they never push anyone alone to get off opiates because thats how people die from "PAIN". and do not treat people like they are pages in a book .. Some people need more help than others .. I am 8 days clean no thanks to Dr Batliwala. he just stopped the prescription... Real hard work ... Learn some real compassion or at least fake it real good or give it to your team ...

I did not have a good experience. I waited from 11:25am until 12:45pm to see the doctor. My appointment was at 12pm, I was asked to be early for xrays. No one even acknowledged the delay. The nurse was very friendly and thorough, but Dr Batlivala was a huge disappointment. The nurse spent more time with me than he did. His bedside manner is terrible. He barely greeted me, never smiled, and hardly even made eye contact. His questions seemed like more of an interrogation than like he wanted to get to know me/help me. He kept asking why I was there, and what I wanted from him (which felt very weird and made me uncomfortable). I have issues with my back, and also autoimmune and neurological disorders. I was recently diagnosed with SFN, and also have lupus. I suffer from back pain and nerve pain and migraine headaches. I have seen several specialists and very much wanted to consolidate care. I read everything on the pratice website. I was so hopeful that I had found a place that could… treat me, and a place where providers would work together on a treatment plan. I told Dr Batlivala that and he told me that is unrealistic, and that doctors don't have time to talk to eachother (maybe he needs to spend time on the website). He barely examined me. He didn't even ask me to come back. I waited months for this appointment, hoping to meet a provider who could help. I hoped to find a practice that would treat me as a whole person (and offer something besides pills). I was crying by the time I made it back to the elevator. Very disheartened by the lack of care and compassion.

Dr.Batlivala has been such a God sent. He has from day one. Always had my life and quality of life. In mind when he has done or set up my treatment. And his partners are so talented. In my opinion in alot of practice's. Treat patients like there pain is some how there fault. And they sould be able to somehow deal with it. Not this dr or practice. And its a one stop shop. With even mri in the same location. Thanks so much to Dr. Balvala and the full staff at NH Nurospine.

I have had two back operations with serious arthritis that is affecting my right leg. I have had at least nine spinal injections that haven't help the pain. He is one of the most caring and considerate Dr. I have ever been to. The only ones that would smear a caring dr. like this only have a grudge because they didn't get what they wanted. He's one of the best and have been going to him for several years. I have moved to Tn. and will miss him and his humor. Always 5??????????

I was in CMC for rehab after surgery. Dr B (as he is called at CMC) has one specialty, get in and get out of the pt room as fast as he can so he can bill ins. He would never listen to me, he was in and out of the room in less than 3 min. His greatest concern was not how well his patient was doing, it was how good is their insurance. I was in the medical field for 40 yrs and I know what tactics are used to pad a doctor's pocket. He continuously over prescribed strong pain medication (morphine) when I kept insisting I did not need anything that strong. He doesn't listen to the staff that is caring for the patients and vetos their recommendations about discharge in order to pad up his bill. He is a charlatan pure and simple. He is dangerous!

Dr Batlivala has always been very professional when I see him. He is very knowledgeable in his field and gives me as much time for my appointment as I need to discuss my situation. He is pleasant to talk to and has never made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his services.

I am rather disgusted at the reviews I have read. None of them are what I have experienced. Dr Batlivala has taken much time when treating my continuous back issue. During appointments he listens intently and will try many diff avenues to treat me. I admit it can be difficult to get in to see him, because he is booked so far out. But, if it's an emergency he Will squeeze you in. It's sad that people would blast him in this manner, just remember people are more inclined to post negative comments rather than positive. I have seen many Dr's and he is the first to really dedicate his time and professionalism to helping a patient in pain.

He is very rude!he only pushes pills.He really doesn't care about the feeling of his patients.Went to a different doctor and found out I have SI dysfuntion with therapy and injection I am feeling great no PILLS. He doesn't t know what he is doing . Shame on you Dr. Batlivala all these months you give me pills that I didn't need.My new Doctor is wonderful, caring and knows what he is doing. I am rating dr. Batlivala. O
