Dr. Zvi Gross, MD

Dr. Gross has monitored my medical conditions with professional knowledge, genuine interest and concern for the appropriate treatment plans. He has contacted me promptly when he receives my blood tests and pathology report to discuss changes, medications and referral to specialists. He is a competent and thoughtful physician who has guided me through some very difficult times.

Do not waste your time with this “ Dr. “ very impersonal and insensible don’t show any interest in you, don't listen what you feel etc. This man is is working by inertia beside this super rude he has no idea what manners mean. He do zero physical examination for the annual check-up, beside that he give you a blood order and then he tell you comeback in 6 weeks to see the results Wow really ?

Dr. Gross has a horrible Bedside manner. He is rude and I'm personal. He speaks AT you and not TO you. He does not take kindly to patient's questions as he sees himself as superior to the sick and needy.

Not professional at all. Does not give you a chance to ask a question. That's explain the ease in getting an appointment.

As a retired nurse I expect a bit more from my Doctors and Dr. Gross exceeded my expectations,he is professional, completely upfront and honest , he has a no bull attitude which is refreshing, his staff is amazing to say the least. If your looking for an honest doctor who wont feed you a load of bull and yells it like it is Dr Gross is your man.

I don't know who the other people reviewing this doctor are, but let me tell you, I review things for a living as a professional blogger and it was a dream for me to finally find a doctor like this. I want to throw a word of caution out there for everyone who looks at reviews as the end-all be-all judgement: Only a handful of people will take the time to write a review when they had a really, really great experience. The person who has the average experience rarely writes at all, and people who have bad things to say almost always open their mouth. I think that's the case with this doctor, and I hope that you'll take my professional review with a bit more salt than the ones before me. For starters, the office staff at his current location in Plantation are awesome. If you call, a real human picks up the phone unless they are on lunch hour. It is wonderful to be able to speak to someone without having to go through the phone loop. The office itself is clean and inviting, wait times… are more than reasonable, and the staff seems to work together beautifully to get everyone through the queue in a quick manner. Last time I was there I noted that there were 11 people ahead of me when I had shown up 10 minutes prior to my appointment. Some of these patients were for other doctors of course, however it is worth it to note that the nurses took me back for vitals at my appointment time, apologized that no room was open yet, and sent me back out to wait - I love that they did what they could while there was down-time. I was in a room within 10 minutes of that, and the doctor came in almost immediately, and even apologized himself for the wait time. It was only 12 minutes past my appointment time at this point, which is probably the quickest I've ever seen ANY doctor. I love that I can schedule with this doctor quickly, which I am guessing is because he is new to this particular location, but with his skills, I doubt that this will hold true for long. I have a long and complex medical history which is compounded by the fact that I have unsolved symptoms. Additionally, I haven't been steady in seeing any doctor for a length of time, which also complicates matters since it makes my medical history difficult to piece together. Dr. Gross took the time to listen to my many problems, helped me find quick solutions for the ones that were simple, and laid out an attack plan for the ones that were hard. Everything has been smooth sailing so far on the diagnostic front. I would also like to point out the fact that this doctor is not a money or insurance gouger. If you need a referral, he will certainly give it, but he's not going to try and pin you against the wall. In my case, I actually had some problems with my insurance on a follow-up appointment and I willingly paid the $75 flat fee to see him. He actually expressed concern for me during the appointment that I was paying on my own, and wanted to hold off giving me the referral I needed in fear that I might end up incurring huge costs if I tried to go forward without insurance to cover me. In the end, everything worked out, I got my referral, and I know for a fact that my doctor cares for my well-being. It's also good to point out that the claim in the other review stating that this doctor will send people out for needless referrals just to get money is absolutely preposterous. That just isn't how the system works, and doctors don't get paid "extra" for giving referrals. If you are sent for a referral it is because there are real and solid reasons behind it. Family Practice and even Internal Medicine doctors won't do the tests or the diagnosis themselves if they feel that your case would be better served if you had someone in the field you need to look after you. It is usually in your best health interest to be referred to a specialist, even if it isn't in your best monetary interest. It is also worth noting that what insurance a person holds (and whether or not that insurance covers specialists) should not be held as a negative against any doctor. That would be like me saying a mechanic is bad because my car insurance company doesn't pay for my oil changes. This doctor is more than worth trying. I like his frank, straight-forward manner and the fact that he spent so much time with me trying to get my problems solved. So far his plan of action for my health care has been spot-on. He expressed genuine concern and was easy to get along with. Is there really more you can ask for in a doctor?

Dr. Gross' office staff are a perfect reflection of who he is as a Doctor. Rude, impersonal, and completely unprofessional. After am abnormal EKG, I explained that for many years I suffered from an Eating Disorder and that I believe it contributed to my heart problems, to which HE said, "Well no offense but for someone who was Bulimic for so long, you sure do look over-weight." Unbelievable. While I visited his Palm Springs office, I can say with surity that I will not be visiting this office ever again. Save yourself the time and money & find ANOTHER doctor.

This doctor is so unprofessional, it surprises me that he is allowed to be in practice. He considers himself a "God" and is rude and overbearing and totally uncaring of his patients. You are a number to him. If he can collect from your insurance company he will give you a referral to see a specialist if not he won't.Please do see this man or allow him to see anyone you love.

I've seen this doctor on several occasions. Each time, he seemed rushed, agitated and not interested in answering questions. Overall, I felt that his manners and conduct were not very professional.
