Dr. Zwi Steindler, MD

I was shocked to see a couple poor reviews on Dr Steindler. He was my primary care MD for many years and I was very sad when he narrowed his practice down to Urgent Care only. He was one of the most caring and compassionate physicians I ever had. I have been an RN for over 35 years, working with many doctors in an operating room / hospital setting. I'm very picky about who I choose for medical care. Dr Steindler was a very good diagnostician and never rushed through visits. Absolutely the best. I only wish I could find another like him!

Sent me on an expensive wild goose chase

Today I was taken to Hoag Urgent Care in Aliso Viejo. I was most fortunate to have Dr. Steindler treat me for a concussion and stitch up my forehead after an accident. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and sent me for further tests including a cat scan. He certainly covered all bases and I am very grateful. I appreciated his relaxed attitude which actually relaxed me. I never had experienced a concussion or stitches in my lifetime. Thank you Dr. Steindler.

I have been seeing Dr. Zwi Steindler for several years. He and his staff have always provided excellent service. He is a caring Doctor with his patients and is very upfront with his diagnosis. He has a very subtle but frank way of discussing medical issues I am dealing with. He provides outstanding resources in helping with illness. I have had several referrals from Dr. Steindler and have found all of them to be outstanding in their field. I have referred Dr. Steindler to all my friends and family.

Rushes to baseless diagnosis.

I Used to see Dr. Steindler but my insurance changed and I did not see him for years. I thought he was a good doctor and wanted to go back. When I went back to see him the office had moved. When I made the appointment I was not informed of the new address. As a result I was 20 minutes late to the correct address (which is not on Irvine Center Drive). I also called to tell them what happened and that I would be there soon. When I arrived 20 minutes after my appointment time I was told that Dr. Steindler was "very strict" and would not be seeing me. I would have to re-schedule my appointment, which I had waited for 3 weeks. It seemed Dr. Steindler was punishing me for being tardy, due to his erroneous Google ad street address. Needless to say I will find a doctor that cares about people rather than one who has a control problem.
