Intermountain Health Good Samaritan Medical Center

I had the pleasure of having out patient surgery at this hospital less than a week ago. I have never been a patient prior to this and was so appreciative of the professional and compassionate care and treatment I was afforded by the entire staff...with the exception of one incident I encountered with the anesthesiologist assigned to my case. I do not recall his name, yet his attitude towards me made an impression I am unlikely to forget. Responding to one of his " fact finding" questions I mentioned that during one surgery I had to be resuscitated twice while in the recovery room. In a mocking and ridiculing voice he said "what does that mean"? I replied that I "coded' twice to which he said "well, I don't know what I'm to do with that". I was made to feel belittled, humiliated, unsafe, ETC. in front of my two daughters who were in the room with me during this conversation with said doctor. Regardless of this unfortunate matter I will not be deterred from returning to Good… Samaritian Medical Center/Hospital should the need arise in the future.
