Apex Heart Care Of North Texas

Dr. Korlakunta seems like a great doctor. I was looking forward to working with her. Unfortunately she has some of the most incompetent and unprofessional front office staff I have ever worked with. Particularly Arley and Veronica. They wasted almost 5 weeks of my time due to their inability to properly communicate to each other. Arley insisted they were having issues getting approval for my tests from BCBS but what it really was is that they didnt want to wait on hold long enough. I called the same number...got someone and they volunteered to call the office to assist. They did and Veronica got approval..told me on the phone they received approval..and then insisted she needed to speak to the Doctor about scheduling. Again, after a few days i had to call them back (thats another issue..I consistently had to chase them down) and spoke to Veronica who then gave me two times/dates for both tests needed. I showed up for the first one and basically got a 'why are you hear?' from Arley who… had no clue about the conversations I had with Veronica and still insisted she didnt have Insurance approval. I wasted more time off from work and i was furious and that was the last straw. I need to get some tests done and these people are messing with individuals lives due to their stupidity. Again, the Doctor seemed genuinely nice and if you can navigate the front office, i am sure she is a great doctor.
