Brighter Dental

Be careful, this place is a classic "bait and switch" operation. You can't trust anything they tell you about what their services will cost you. We went there for Invisalign for our daughter. They told us they contacted our insurance carrier, "confirmed" it was partially covered, told us how much insurance would pay, and told how much we needed to pay. We paid the agreed upon amount, but a year later, and without any notice, we began receiving additional charges from Brighter Dental on our credit card. When we called them they told us that insurance rejected the claim and that they were charging us the "balance due." They completely disregarded the fact that we only agreed to the service in the first place because they told us it was partially covered by insurance. Now it is clear they were just saying whatever they had to, to get us to sign up for their service. To add insult to injury, they don't even give you the courtesy of telling you that insurance rejected the claim, and… allow you to decide how you want to pay the balance. Apparently they believe it is their right to just charge whatever credit card you used the last time. I am happy to pay for what I agree to, but I would hope to be treated with some courtesy, and not like I am just another credit card number they can dig out of their files and randomly charge whenever they feel like it. I don't know if their arrogance is another byproduct of their incompetence, or just another aspect of their poor business ethic and practices, but my family will never go there again, and I caution anyone who reads this against using their services.
