They do not treat mental health disorders at this practice. They refer out. They would not accept us as new patients if my child who has anxiety wanted to continue her medication while in the process of being referred to a psychiatrist. She would have to stop a med that manages her condition, wait for weeks to months for an adolescent psychiatrist while possibly in crisis, and start taking her med again under the care of the psychiatrist. The OM understood that it could be dangerous to do this, said she’d double check with her boss, and never called me back. When a business shows you who they are, believe them.

To make a very long story short…. My sons have been patients of Dr. Millers for almost 12 years. Other than the occasional cold or routine checkup they have been model patients for him. When we actually needed him for a serious issue he completely failed us, pushed us off, and then abandoned us when we needed him the most by kicking us out of his practice for absolutely no reason. Dr. Miller should be ashamed of himself! Unfortunately our experience with the rest of his staff was more of the same. Their mental health counselor we saw was stone cold, unhelpful, and completely incompassionate! His reception staff and nurses are always unfriendly and pushing you off as well. What a disappointment. We were forced to find a new practice and it was actually a blessing in disguise. We found an amazing local doctor who finally treated us with care and empathy. My advice…. Do NOT go to this practice!
