The first visit was great and I really liked Dr. Pudhota, the scheduled procedure went well, but the follow up has been a nightmare. Ten days after my procedure I got the results via a video consultation and a plan to treat my condition, but it took two days to get my medications sent to the pharmacy, when I picked them up there were ONLY three pills, one per medication. Called them to double check and the office acknowledged that they had made a mistake and corrected the amount, when I went to check out my prescriptions via the pharmacy app I realized one of them was penicillin, my chart clearly specifies that I am allergic to it. When I called back to highlight this, the person who answered said that it was the right medication for my treatment, I reiterated my allergies and asked to double check and ask Dr. Pudhota to review it. Next day they called and said my new prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy, when I picked them up they were the same medications than before. By this time… I had been in pain and without treatment for more than two weeks. I had it with them and with medical results in hand went to see my primary care physician who prescribed the correct antibiotics. I have spent money on medications that I can't use, had extra payments to a different doctor and lost wages in order to fix this doctor's mistake which, if I hadn't caught on time could have been very dangerous. I will file an official complaint to the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Medical Board. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE!
