Summit Spine and Joint Centers - Lawrenceville

I do not blame Summit Spine for Cigna denying my procedure. However, it is extremely frustrating that they knew the procedure was denied on 3/5 and called me on 3/11 to confirm my appointment without telling me the procedure would not be performed. I had a friend rearrange her day in order to be my driver since I have sedation. So I inconvenienced her to take me to an appointment when she didn’t need to be there. Please, please, please be considerate of your patient’s time and the time of the drivers by letting them know their procedures are not approved. In addition, I would have had 10 days to work with the insurance company and could have gotten the approval. I had an extremely frustrating experience today!
