The Dermatology Specialists

Consulted with this "dermatologist" September 2023 for what I thought was an infection from an ear ring.. I never got to see a doctor because the PA (Yvonne Huang) was definitive that what I had was a keloid. She never suggested a biopsy. She iImmediately recommended a steroid shot which I declined, and instead froze the keloid. I went twice and neither time was a doctor consulted. I felt it looked good enough and didn't go back. Fast forward a year, and I consulted with a different dermatologist, who felt I needed a biopsy. The biopsy came back that I had malignant melanoma (a very serious cancer). Because of Dermatology Specialists, I haven't pursued treatment for this very serious cancer for over a year. Multiple requests have been made to obtain my medical records. The company has taken zero action on this. They've deleted my access to their "portal", but the bill is clear - they were treating a "benign wart". Maybe that's their code word for malignant melanoma. … Right. This company should not exist. I am pursuing legal channels, and also filed a complaint with the NYS Medical Board. If you've been wronged by this company, funded by private equity more concerned with profits than your health, please take action, including alerting your Senator.
