So the office was nice, the experience was nice. Dr. Lam was nice and easy to talk to. I have Aetna insurance and their estimator estimated $120 for a new patient office visit. Seemed reasonable to me. Afterwards UCI Health billed my Insurance $892 where my in-network copay is $588. For a 30 minute office visit, no physical exam, nothing new just talking with a new Physician for primary care. No other doctor I know bills $588 for a 30 minute simple primary care office visit. UCI Health is ridiculous. Don't ever go here. You'd be better off going to CVS Minute Clinic, same experience way more affordable. Everything Dr. Lam did in my appointment could be replaced with an AI bot.
