Dr. Anthony Iacco, MD

I am a doctor who needed to have hernia surgery. After doing my own research and finding the right surgeon I chose Dr. Iacco. He’s an absolute amazing surgeon, and has great bedside manner. He’s extremely skilled with robotic hernia repair. If you truly want to know how well a surgeon is ask the nurses or surgical techs. They all recommend him, they all speak so highly of him, and for a reason because he’s truly incredible. The medical field can use more Dr. Iacco’s

An absolute waste of time, energy, and "hope". A four-minute office visit to discuss and diagnose a complex abdominal wall situation was a farce. Walking into the examination room without reviewing the medical records I compiled, gently tapping my distended belly and abdomen three times, and reviewing film that was over three years old, does.not constitute a through examination or consult (it's obvious as my appointment was rescheduled to accommodate his personal schedule). You should be thoroughly embarrassed to charge a co-pay for such a flimsy and half-hearted encounter. There's no other way to state it: you failed in your duty to evaluate a patient's symptoms and determine the most appropriate course of treatment to address them.

I came to see Dr. Iacco after multiple hernia repair operations from a doctor in a different state failed to work. He has great office staff, he took time to listen, and he explained everything that was going to happen. I am 6 months out, back to normal life, and cannot be more thankful!

Not sure why there would be any one star ratings. Dr. Iacco took time to explain several different options to me and we came up with a plan we were both comfortable with. He performed my surgery and I am very happy with the results. It has been 5 weeks since my hernia surgery.
