Dr. Barry G. Simonson, MD

Doesn't care. I have pain while I run. As a marathon runner i saw he specializes in sports medicine. He did not diagnose or treat, just milked the whole situation into multiple visits. Don't waste your time with him, he didn't care at all! Still have pain when i run. Thanks for nothing!

Complete staff very professional and personablr

I doubt that there is a medical doctor on this planet who is better at his specialty than Dr. Simonson. He has performed two knee and one hip surgeries on me and the results were outstanding. There isn't any medical professional that I have met or know of that deserves the trust and faith that I have in Dr. Simonson.

What an awful experience. Two knee surgeries later I'm still not better. I waited 2.5 hours every time I went to see him for follow ups or consultations because they double triple quadruple book their appointments. I'm going to get my third surgery from someone else and to receive my documentation theis office only takes fax or physical pickup/drop off for the release forms (they "don't have email") and they cant provide my paperwork until 10-12 days after I fax or drop this paperwork off. They "dont have email" at their office. Who doesnt have email?! I'm frustrated and in pain and this office is ridiculous. Go somewhere with some sense of customer service and better results.

I have been a patient of dr. Simonson for a few years. I was out of work and needed letters for my job. Speaking with Kristen she became rude with me on more then one phone call . Plus when I came to see the doctor as he was walking out the door he turned to me and said “ don’t call my secretary annoying her”. I was so shocked by his behavior. he was already gone before I could of replied. Just this morning I had to endure Kristen’s verbal attack. I’m waiting for the doctor to give me results of my MRI and see if I am verbally attached by him on Kristen behalf. I’m seriously thinking of taking this further.

Felt rushed, he seemed annoyed we had questions, was late, ran out of the room horrible experience!!!!

Was very unhappy with Kristn they never answer their phone so I leave a message and they never return the call I keep leaving messages for KRISTN and I NEVER HEARD FROM HER I was going to have surgery but because I did not receive a call back at All I CANCELLED AND WENT TO ANOTHER DR.

I made an appointment to have Dr. Simonson evaluate my pain in 2 different locations (knee and arm). He evaluated the knee problem and prescribed an appropriate therapy. When I told him I had a similar pain in my arm, he told me they were not related and to make another appointment for that. Hypothetically, If I had come into the office with a broken leg and broken arm, wouldn't he have treated both conditions in the same visit or would he have told me to come back for the broken arm at another time? This is a case of patient reimbursement issues interfering with a doctors clinical judgement. Suppose the two source of pain are coming from a common cause such as the nerves in the spine.. He paid no attention to it and I still have the pain in the arm.

Dr. Simonson was very professional, very concerned and seemed very knowledgeable. He is taking in account my fears about surgery when dealing with my knee

He was a little cool, but he was very good with his diagnosis and suggestions.
