I recently had a serious problem with BPH and was referred to Dr. Chan for green light laser surgery. The process was very smooth and well explained, he answered all questions and even called me the day after our follow up appt. to see how I was doing.

My husband suffered from multiple severe urinary tract infections each year. After taking a conservative approach, which we preferred, was not working any more, Dr. Chan recommended the Green Light Laser Surgery. He was confident, Caring, articulate and very well trained. Dr. Chan is a wonderful caring Urologist, along with his staff. We would give him a 10 star rating!!

Dr. Chan has a powerful combination of capabilities. On the personal side, he communicates clearly and effectively and has great empathy for the patient. With every conversation you can feel that he cares and he answers every question with both technical excellence and empathy. On the technical side, everyone is looking for doctors like Doctor Chan. Yale, Harvard and Hopkins trained, he is such an impressive expert on these conditions that you immediately realize you are in the presence of a true expert, and feel safe with his judgment. Btw, not only does he help me, but he has treated both of my brother for prostate cancer and they both have had very successful lives that are cancer free for over 7 years now. So not only is he a great doctor, he's a great surgeon as well.

Couldn't disagree more with reviewers who say that Dr. Chan is uncaring! Dr. Chan has the best bedside manner of any Dr. I've seen in a long time! Knowledgeable, attentive, and caring...they don't come any better than Dr. Chan!
