Dr. Derek J Dawson, MD

Before you make an appt to see Dr. Dawson understand that you will not get the service you or your insurance is paying to get. Dr. Dawson is very unprofessional and his staff is even worse. He walks with his pants sagging like a 20 yr old thug.

The dr himself was great, but the lady at the front desk was asking me medical questions in the waiting room full of people which i think is very unprofessional! they should have a seperate room to do that in. When i was being checked out I was waiting there for 40 minutes just to get my contacts and payment taken care of. I told her I wanted to look at glasses to and she completely ignored my request and got snobby when I had for my glasses script to be written out. I was called and told my contacts were ready and when I called back the next day I was told my contacts were not there which is very frustrating and they need to have better communication in that office. Was very dissatisfied with my visit the only positive was the doctor. The medical assistant up front needs to be more professional and have a better system for everything. I should not have been asked my medical history/family history/etc when there is a waiting room full of people. Why did you have us fill out the forms… if you are going to continue to ask me all these questions. Will def be taking my business somewhere else.
