Dr. Jeffry Lance Jacobs, DO

I met Dr. Jacobs through the ER at Holy Name. I came in with a MSSA infection from a previous surgery, and he performed an emergency surgery the next day. Following my discharge, Dr. Jacobs gave me his 24/7 text number and kept constant contact with me. He set me up with a great OT and had me send pictures of my hand several times a day. Now, my hand is fully healed, and I was able to return to normal activity sooner than expected. I write all this to say: He's thorough, and he gets it done. His constant supervision of my wound and the wrapping methods made me feel confident in my healing process. Beyond the wound care, his sense of humor kept things light, and his energy is impressive despite working the night shift at an ER. If you want someone who will do things RIGHT, and prioritize great results, you have to see Dr. Jacobs.

When my wedding ring almost completely removed my finger during an accident in Oct, 2020 I was lucky enough to meet Dr Jacobs. The surgery he performed the day that it happened was expertly executed and because of that and the follow up monitoring I am happy to say that my finger functions normally with only minimal scaring. Dr Jacobs’ bedside manner was fantastic as he used the perfect combination of professionalism and humor which I really appreciated.

Very caring and great surgeon

My husband was hit with a golf club while waiting to tee off. He was taken to the emergency room and luckily for us was treated by Dr. Jacobs. He stitched up his face and underlining muscles skillfully. My husband is a physician as well and gives Dr. Jacobs a five star rating.

A few months ago we had an emergency. My 4 year old son had busted his chin open through the muscle on the edge of a table. We rushed him to the hospital. That day Doctor Jacobs was on call. My son has never been to a hospital Doctor Jacobs and the team at the hospital made him comfortable and got to work. Now fast forward , month service later my son has no visible scar. Doctor Jacobs did a great job.

I had to take my 5 yr old son for stitches and Dr. Jacobs was above and beyond. He had an excellent bed side manor and was very compassionate for the entire situation. He and the hospital made us feel comfortable and very at ease.

He really cared for me totally and I was very impressed with his concern for my overall well-being.

Dr, Jacobs has the amazing quality of expertise in his field and the ability to form a healing, caring connection with his patients. I experienced this when he treated me for very traumatic injuries after a bad fall. His excellent treatment is to be admired. I was healed by the medical treatment and also by his rare and special gift of kindness, caring devoting time, and listening to all my concerns. Thanks, Dr. Jacobs!
