Best urologist I have ever seen. Great bedside manner and really cares about his patients.

My urine flow hasn't been all that good over the years, but it's been fairly functional and I hadn't wanted to take the next step. Then I recently caught a bacterial infection that was being successfully handled in the usual ways but suddenly my stream started to decrease. I couldn't understand why this was happening but on a Saturday I became alarmed. Having recently moved and out of touch with my "old" urologist, I needed someone fast. My wife found Dr. Schulman's name on a list somewhere and I called him never expecting for him to get back on a weekend but he did. He patiently listened to my complaint,, immediately advised me to go off some supplementary type medication the other Doc gave me for the bacterial infection, namely a strong Advil and a cough medicine since they contained ingredients that were exacerbating the situation. He also prescribed something that would help shrink the always swollen prostate. I was astonished by his selfless helping way, he hadn't even asked… about my insurance. Via his continued help I ended up in the ER, and a catheter was installed. Finally got to meet this extraordinary dude, since I made an appointment to see him. Didn't know he was the Doc when I first saw him in the waiting room with his arm around some older gent, who later told me that the Doc was a talented angel who had saved his life. What an experience this appointment was, he sat there and READ MY WHOLE FILE for the best part of 1/2 hour. He was gentle and considerate in his exam, and so far his doctoring has been first rate. I am still amazed that there is someone like this out there in this day and age. He's a talented expert at what he does, he had a thriving practice it turns out and he is a truly wonderful healer. Am I ever satisfied!!
