Dr. Rebecca Perkins Sheehan DMD, MMSc
Dr. Rebecca Perkins comes from a family of dentists. Her father and both of her sisters are all dentists. Dr. Perkins was born in Boston, but grew up in New Jersey. She attended Princeton University and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in American History.
After college, Dr. Perkins attended the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and graduated cum laude winning the award for excellence in clinical dentistry. She remained at Harvard for 3 years to specialize in prosthodontics which focuses on full mouth reconstruction, implants, and esthetic dentistry. She also taught Harvard dental students in the classroom and clinical setting. Dr. Perkins joined Porter Square Family Dental in 2009.
At home, Dr. …Perkins looks forward to time with her husband and three children, Jack, Tom and Cate. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis and snowboarding.

Dr. Sara Perkins DMD
Dr. Sara Perkins grew up in New Jersey where she was a star athlete. She was recently inducted into her high school hall of fame as a noteworthy field hockey, basketball, and softball player. She continued playing basketball during her undergraduate years at Yale University.
After spending a year as a research assistant at Harvard School of Dental Medicine she attended dental school at Boston University. She joined Porter Square Family Dental in 2009.
Dr. Perkins loves fishing and spends most weekends out on the water with her husband who is also a dentist.

Dr. Nancy Perkins Machemer DMD
Dr. Nancy Perkins Machemer went to Tufts where she majored in Art History and graduated cum laude. She was a graphic designer for 5 years before she decided to apply her love of art and science to a degree in dentistry. She then graduated magna cum laude from Tufts Dental School, and was one of ten in her class elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
Dr. Machemer spends her free time with her husband, Kurt, and two daughters, Avery and Lexi. She enjoys tennis, golf, and reading.
