Dr. Shahir Khalil

I don't often comment online but wanted to thank Dr. Khalil for helping me through getting my front crowns done! No doubt a complicated process because of my teeth being a difficult challenge but he did a GREAT job! The staff was also very helpful in walking me through the insurance process and maximizing my benefits and knowing how much out of pocket I would have to pay. It was so worth it!

We have lived in the community for years and have gone to Dr Khalil since moving to town. He is a wonderful dentist and we are thankful he is so caring! We will continue to go to his practice and recommend it to our friends and family.

Wonderful dentist and staff! I have dental anxiety and this office helped me overcome it! Highly recommend! Shame on previous reviewer! This dentist is caring and his staff is amazing!

Oh where to begin. Let's say you have a billing issue....your options are to leave a message and wait "24" hours for them to get back to you....it's more likely to be 48 hours. Multiple times I informed them of insurance inaccuracies but they went about their business not resubmitting the claims correctly. Then three months later (after I assumed insurance had paid) I got a collection letter. I've actually stopped by the office 4 times to speak to the Office Manager to find out why the claim wasn't paid and it turns out they had NEVER corrected the insurance for my son (which was emailed and faxed) to them months prior. Then the remaining balance was because they were billing my dental work per tooth as opposed to quadrant (thereby netting them $302 out of my pocket as opposed to the $120 I was estimated to owe prior to sitting in the chair). When I casually informed the Office Manager (who has a degree in public relations) I would be seeking a new dentist she casually said, "OK".… Prior to moving here from Illinois I had substantial dental work done and periodontal work done so I'm not new to the world of dental care. Along with myself I brought my son and my fiance into his practice and the only customer service response I get when I say we will be finding a new dentist is "OK". No attempt to clarify the billing error. No apology for months of billing incorrectly..... just "OK" The office is beautiful and the dentist is nice but the rest of the customer service is atrocious and disgraceful. I'm not sure that the dentist is even aware of how this facet of his office is run but personally speaking and from someone who works with INSURANCE and in the healthcare field he should be embarrassed and appalled at this. They are so flush with patients they are willing to disregard 3 (myself, my son and fiance) over a billing error that is their fault to begin with...talk about shortsighted thinking.
