Dr. Steve W Lebo

 MEET Dr. Lebo
Dr. Steve Lebo, DDS, was born in Houston, Texas and attended Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas.  He began attending Stephen F. Austin University at the age of 16 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He continued his studies in a Masters program in chemistry at Stephen F. Austin.  Dr. Lebo was accepted and attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas graduating in 1980 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.  While at Baylor, he was active on both the schools soccer and flag football teams.
Dr. Lebo began his dental practice in N. Richland Hills, Texas in 1980 and practiced there for twenty years before moving to Tyler, Texas in 2001. While caring for patients and living in the Mid-Cities area, he volunteered with city government as chairman of City Commissions, task forces and committees, Chambers of Commerce, Lion's Club, Rotary Club, and several homeowner's associations. His favorite volunteer positions involved his …family while coaching soccer and baseball. Dr. Lebo has volunteered for the Texas Mission of Mercy free dental clinic and served two volunteer tours in the Dominican Republic and El Salvador with the US Navy humanitarian hospital ship, USNS Comfort. Dr. Lebo has served on several hospitals' surgical staff for the last 31 years and is currently on the active surgical staff at Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Texas.  This year, Dr. Lebo will again be able to serve aboard the USNS Comfort Navy Hospital ship that will tour The Caribbean, Central and South America.  “My service with the Navy is a privilege and helps the image of America in these foreign countries.”
